Está pronta a nossa caixa, inteiramente planeada e realizada pela M. (bem, não muito planeada, que ela é mais de instintos). Eu deixei-a fazer o que quis, porque afinal as meninas de 6 anos é que sabem do que gostam, e a destinatária deste sapatinho - perdão, caixa de sapatos – será uma menina como a minha. Vai cheia até à borda, porque ela teve um súbito e bem-vindo ataque de generosidade, ao ponto de querer dar coisas suas. E isto já seria por si só um milagre de Natal. Mas nesta caixa só devem seguir brinquedos e mimos novos, e nós cumprimos!
Our box is ready, and was entirely planned and made by M. (well, not really planned, she is more of the instinctive kind). I let her do it her way; after all, 6 year old girls know best what pleases them, and the receiver of this box will be a girl just like mine. It is full to the top, because she had a sudden but welcome surge of generosity, and was even willing to give her own toys. Notice that this would be, on itself, a true Christmas miracle. But in this box only new toys are allowed, and we didn't forget it!
