O meu prémio chegou, directamente da Turquia! É tão bom receber prendas pelo correio. Obrigada, Estella. Já o usei. É lindo, demorada e pacientemente feito à mão, em crochet, sobre uma armação de fio de nylon que lhe dá estrutura. A pedra é fluorite roxa, também esculpida à mão. E é curiosamente semelhante a um, feito há muitas décadas pela minha bisavó, que ainda hei-de encontrar e mostrar aqui.

My prize arrived, directly from Turkey! I love to receive gifts in the mail. Thank you, Estella; I’ve used it already. It is beautiful, and patiently handmade in needle lace. The stone leaf is a hand carved fluorite gemstone. It is also remarkably similar to one my great-grandmother crocheted several decades ago, and that I will try to find and show here.
