O silêncio é de ouro? / Silence is gold, they say

E a palavra é de prata. Eu cá não sei, mas gosto de as ouvir tagarelar e dar risadinhas todo o dia. Não durará muito tempo, que estas manas tão unidas estão quase a separar-se. Uma já encontrou uma casa, as outras não devem ficar por cá muito mais tempo.

Os meus leitores (ou as minhas leitoras?) que me desculpem a franqueza, mas nem sou grande fã de bonecas de pano... só que quando sou eu a fazê-las, pontinho a pontinho, vejo-as quase como gente. Nenhuma igual a outra, nenhuma dispensável. Ainda assim, tenho a certeza que serão cobertas de mimo pelas novas donas!

And speech is silver. I don't know, but I really enjoy hearing them chatter and giggle all day. It won't last for long; these close sisters are about to part. One of them has already found a home, and it seems the other two will not stay here for long, too.

Truth said, I was never a big fan of fabric dolls... still, when they come out from my own hands, carefully and lovingly made stitch by stitch, they are almost like people to me. None similar to another, none easily dispensable. Thankfully, I am sure they will be absolutely pampered by their new owners!
